Over 1,500 years ago, the origins of Japanese aesthetics took root in Kyoto, stemming from the vibrant court culture. A unique set of values, cherishing nature and appreciating delicacy, flourished. Influenced by Buddhism, the samurai class, and townspeople's culture, its brilliance became even more refined. Nishijin weaving is Japan's oldest traditional industry. Since the Heian period, the exquisite Japanese aesthetic has been woven into the warp threads, and the masterful skills of artisans into the weft threads, continuing to captivate many people. Please enjoy the many depictions of flowers, birds, wind, and the moon, as well as the artistic works of our predecessors, expressed with the finest Nishijin weaving technique (1800-thread jacquard).

Using the finest weaving techniques, even the brushstrokes have been delicately woven into the fabric.
